General Data Protection Regulations

The CEA implements an approach to protect all personal data that comes into its possession.

The CEA is required to handle personal data within the scope of its activities. The notion of “personal data” concerns all information about a natural person identified or capable of being identified, directly or indirectly, namely through reference to an identifier (e.g. a name or identification number) or to one or several items specific to the person’s physical, physiological, genetic, psychiatric, economic, cultural or social identity.

For this reason, the CEA agrees to comply with the general data protection regulations (RGPD) ref. 2016/679 dated 27 April 2016 and the French Data Protection Act No. 78-17 dated 6 January 1978 (hereafter referred to as “the Regulations”).

This information document describes how the CEA collects, uses and manages personal data, as well as the access rights of those concerned.
