The 12 th Scientific and Technical Seminar took place from 7 to 9 June in Aix en Provence in the presence of representatives of the members of the Consortium but also of “non-member” invited organizations : about 80 participants (of which 50 in person).

It has been presented :

  • the state of the JHR project, the fleet of experimental devices planned as well as the results of the fuel , material and technology working groups who are working on the adequacy of the JHR experimental devices with the nuclear community (scientists and industries) needs.
  • the progress made by the pre-JHR experimentation programs realized in similar reactors in operation, through the OECD/FIDES framework.
  • the presentation and discussions about the European project JHOP 2040 progress and deliverables

The attendees were also able to visit the JHR building site and the CABRI research reactor: it was the opportunity to state the installation progress, they were all impressed by the work achieved on quality.
